What we do
  • We are on call to collect your payments when required, either working from your office or offsite to save on expenses
  • We can work in or out of standard office hours, depending on your client's availability
  • We can complete our work using your trial balance, monthly statements or invoices, provided we have contact details
  • We will provide a full report of all calls, so you know exactly what has taken place with your clients
  • We will represent your company on the phone, so each call is seen as a courtesy call and a great opportunity to solve any queries
  • Working on contract, you don't need to worry about employee considerations with us (ACC, holiday pay, sick leave, Kiwi Saver etc.)
  • We work when required, so you don’t have to worry about weekly wages

Property management

There is no need to pay a percentage for property management, when you can pay one set cost per week.
What we will do
  • Manage your rental property from start to finish
  • Advertise to find the right tenant for your property
  • Handle all viewings (taking calls, organising viewings)
  • Tenancy placement (handling all necessary paperwork, collection of bond and week-in advance payments)
  • Regular property inspections (one month after move in, followed by three monthly inspections, photos provided annually)
  • Organise all tradesmen for any maintenance required
  • Handle all collection of payments (paid directly to your bank on a monthly basis)
  • Keep regular contact with you as the property owner
What this service costs
  • Advertising costs - $150 +GST (usually involves taking pictures, loading them onto TradeMe, running a three week advert in the local paper)
  • One week letting fee for new tenants (this covers taking enquires, credit checks, property viewings, final signup and handover)
  • Management fee (charged weekly if the property is tenanted)
  • Weekly rent: $0 to $300:    $18.00 +GST management fee
  • Weekly rent $301 to $450: $26.00 +GST management fee
  • Weekly rent $451upwards: $35.00 +GST management fee
  • Commercial Buildings:         $85.00 + GST Monthly Fee
  • Causal Finders Fee:            $150.00+GST (Plus Advertising)
  • Rent Appraisals:                    $50.00+GST
  • Property inspections:           $50.00 +GST (one inspection four weeks after tenant’s arrival, then every three months thereafter, includes a report to you and the tenant)
  • Tradesmen: bill will be deducted from your statement on the 20th of the following month, $10 service fee if we organise trades for you

How the process works

  • You will start by emailing or faxing us the signed contract, a copy of the debtors invoice and their contact details
  • From there, we will send a letter and/or email to the debtor, informing them that they have been handed over to the debt collector and have seven days to pay or make contact to discuss
  • After 10 working days we will then start phoning, emailing or texting to push for a result
  • If the amount is still not paid, we will mark them as a bad debtor on Veda Advantage (Baycorp) so their credit rating is damaged
  • Finally, we will make contact with you to decide on the next step, such as court action and the costs involved moving forward

How the process works

  • We will have a meeting to discuss how your collections are being done now (current terms of trade, the condition of your ledger)
  • We will have a look at your existing credit applications and help you establish a foolproof application
  • We will create an action plan of when and how we will handle your collections
  • We will determine if you would prefer us to work from your office or offsite
  • We will setup a reporting system, so you know exactly who has been phoned and what has happened throughout the collection process
  • We will schedule monthly follow-up meetings to reassess and an create action plan for the next period
